General Information
Sunseekers Friend is a 100% mineral-based sunscreen. Most sunscreen
products on the market (>95%) are damaging to the environment and
specifically to our coral reefs, our mineral sunscreen formulation is
accredited to CANSA, EU COLIPA, ISO 24444 and ISO 24443 standards, as a
water-resistant SPF 50 sunblock.
This formulation provides a chemical free, environmentally
friendly, skin nourishing sunscreen with high UVA blocking capacity, preventing
pre-mature skin aging and damage.
Our formulation protects against both UV B sunburn and UV A
induced skin cancer.
Coral Reef Friendly
Most sunscreens cause irreversible damage to coral reefs and
sunscreens that contain Benzophenone UV blockers, not only do damage to coral,
but can change the sex of fish.
But by utilising Zinc Oxide and Titanium Di-Oxide with plant
derived oils that overcomes all these environmental concerns.
We have eliminated all the harsh chemicals normally used in
other sunscreens. (known as endocrine disrupters)
Your Health
We utilise a Non nano milling process to protect your skin
from absorbing any unwanted minerals. This product is dermatologically
formulated to provide nourishment to your skin, with added Vitamins (A, C and E
enriched) and Aloe Vera extract to keep your skin in peak health as it contains
sustainable palm oil and soy bean oil provide a non-greasy carrier and prevent
moisture loss
Vegan, Bio-degradable and Eco-friendly
Every ingredient that is in the mineral sunscreen range, was
carefully selected to have zero or very limited impact on our environment.
The UV blockers are all natural occurring minerals and can
be found in nature, as minor mineral components in many soil profiles, all
ingredients are Vegan friendly.
Sunseekers friend is also paraben free, sodium benzoate and
potassium sorbate, common fruit juice preservatives are used instead.
Strict environmental impact consideration was used through
formulation stage, to ensure product is 100% bio-degradable & Suitability
for Children and Sensitive Skin with pH range between 5.5 and 6
Endocrine disrupter effects and other chemical hormonal
interference chemical compounds, is totally eliminated, by only using natural
ingredients.
